With the WIBBEL training, the children of the primary schools learn playfully how to behave on the way to school by bus. The safety of school children is of great importance for the Voyages Emile Weber bus company.
In order to make the way to school even safer, the project ‘WIBBEL- Mam Bus sécher an d’Schoul’ was launched in October 2017. The training takes place on the factory premises of the bus company in Canach and includes a training carried out by a specialist as well as a tour that indicates the dangers of road traffic and shows how to behave correctly on the way to the bus stop, at the stop and on the bus.
For the project, bus stops have been set up at the Voyages Emile Weber depot. The students also discovered the huge gas station, the garage and the bus halls. Also a wash by bus through the large car wash could not be missing. Our school’s P1 classes took part in the ‘WIBBEL’ training in Canach in May and June and were enthusiastic. At the end of the training, a picture of the students was taken on the bus driver's seat. In this way, traffic education is fun and remains sustainably in the memory of the students.
